A patch test is required for anyone new to waxing or if any reactions have previously been experienced.
Wax preparation; regular exfoliation is needed to ensure that the dead skin is regularly removed from the body, freeing any trapped hairs. This allows for a smoother result during the treatment.
If waxing for the first time 4-6 weeks of hair growth should be allowed to ensure as many of the hairs are in their active growing stage for optimum removal.
After care is very important; avoid heat including ultra violet light for 24 hours before and after the treatment, this also includes showering or bathing. Also within this time; deodorant and scented products should be avoided as should make up, tight fitting clothing, false tan applications and swimming.
